SLICK follows Rachel and her partner, A Man, through an evening in their Brooklyn apartment. While Rachel sits in a bubble bath, their playful banter leads to a vulnerable exchange when she confesses an embarrassing issue.

The mood shifts when Rachel impulsively cuts her hair. When she reveals her shameful new look A Man scolds her, escalating into chaos when she accidentally severs his ear with craft scissors. Panicked, they rush to the ER. At the hospital, a nurse separates them, leaving Rachel alone in a filing room. As A Man undergoes treatment, Rachel stews in anxiety reflecting on the events of the night. A phone call from her mother forces her to confront her behavior.
