In one night, the bathroom of a DELANCEY CLUB reveals the space between who we pretend to be and who we are.
Set entirely in the bathroom of a downtown nightclub, DELANCEY CLUB follows a series of strangers as they pass through the mirror’s gaze over the course of one night. Each arrival is a small performance -- a smile rehearsed, a line practiced, a pep talk repeated -- that slowly unravels to reveal the cracks underneath. by limiting the story to the bathroom, the film explores perspective as both a physical and emotional space: the difference between how we present ourselves to the world, and what slips through when we’re alone.
